Child Therapy A session with children may help with learning about social skills, making friends, how to keep them and how they feel about themselves. Sand Tray Sand Tray The idea of the sand tray is that the client gets to choose any of the figurines to represent people, issues, struggles, feelings and events in their lives. The sand tray becomes their “mini world” for a while, and they are free to create a “model” in the sand of their current issue, or part of their lives, or an experience etc. that has them “stuck”. Using the sand tray becomes an experimental way of exploring the issue.   Child therapy 2   Drawing Children express their feelings through drawing. This can show whether they are happy, sad, upset or angry.
